[Toonie's just a little bit overwhelmed by all the New Feathers here - or, were they? Not all of them had wings - and is hanging out around town trying to make sense of it all. If this many people just appeared, then maybe his friends, too, would...

On the look out for anybody familiar - or anyone with pointed ears for that matter - he scans the area with his arms crossed and his brow furrowed.

In any case, you really helped me out here! I mean, walking around without a face! I would have really stuck out for sure! But I'm sure I'll fit right in now! Thanks a lot!

Well, of course there are! I meet lots of animals every day! Just traveling from town to town, meeting lots of new folks...It's pretty great, really.

Well, where I come from, I didn't see very many talking animals, so it was a bit strange for me when I first got here. ...But I'm glad I met everyone here! They're all very nice!

The animals don't talk where you come from?! Do they all just write letters!? Or paw signals?

I suppose if I'm going to be here for a little while, it's nice to know the folks are nice.

Um... well, they usually just don't communicate with people. I guess maybe they make noises to talk to each other, but we can't understand them.

Really?! How inconvenient! But if the animals here can talk, then it shouldn't be a problem, right?

Uh-huh!

...Although there was this group of fish that could talk. They helped me fill out my sea chart. I dunno why they can talk, though, and the other fish can't.

Fish, huh? Funny...the fish where I come from can't talk. Them and the bugs are the only ones. I never thought about it before, but it's kinda funny.

But you said sea chart, right? Does that mean you sail?

Wow... uh, yeah! I sail all the time! I live on an island, so boats are the only way we can get around.

Wow! I bet that's gotta be cool! I've only seen one boat in my whole life, but I've never been on it. I mostly travel by train. Or by walking.

Boats are really really neat! They take a little getting used to, but it's just like walking when you get the hang of it! And you get to feel the wind blowing and watch the seagulls and it's so much fun!

Wow...! I'll have to try it one day. I bet it's great for fishing, too...

Yeah... although I never did any fishing. I had to sail in a lot of places with monsters and the small fish never want to go there. I used to catch crabs on my island, though! I'm really good at that!

Wow! I don't think I've ever seen a real crab before! Just crawfish.

But did you say monsters...?

Uh-huh. Like, big octos and peahats and bokoblins and stuff. A bunch of them work for an evil wizard, and I think they were put there to try and stop me from stopping him. [He has no idea which ones are Ganondorf's and which ones aren't, though.]

I've never seen any of that stuff before.

[Or she assumes she hasn't. Not knowing what they look like, she can't say for sure.]

It must be pretty exciting where you're from!

It's really exciting! But it's also really dangerous. That's why I'm doing what I'm doing, though - I was named a hero, so it's my responsibility to keep my world safe! And when I beat Ganondorf, things are gonna be a lot safer for everyone.
