[Hey House 49, guess who's gonna try his hand at being a productive little hero? That's right, Toonie is - he's going to be using the stove for the first time all by himself!

Of course, he wasn't going to try anything too overwhelming. Just spaghetti and meatsauce. He had taken some notes in his journal about how to make it, so it's sitting on the counter nearby. He's got everything else ready, but he's still just... waiting for the huge pot of water to boil.

Impatient as he is, he frowns. And since his journal is wide open, you might hear him growl and mutter to himself.]

Geez, how long does it take water to boil? It never took this long when Grandma did it... [You also weren't watching the pot when Grandma did it, bro.]

[Zelda's keeping to the house for the most part. There's no reason to tempt fate with Ganondorf around, after all. As such, Toonie cooking is probably the entertainment highlight of her day, right up there with Sheik brooding (again).]

Huh? [Turns.] ...Oh! Princess! [Smiles.] I was gonna cook spaghetti for everybody. But the water's taking an awful long time to boil...

Of course it is, you aren't supposed to watch it while it heats up.

[Zelda seems amused. She hasn't cooked much in her life, but she has made tea - and she knows that it took forever if she simply stared at the kettle.]

Why don't you prepare some of the other ingredients while you wait?

Huh? ...Oh, yeah, I could! [Goes over and grabs a large pan, placing it on the stove as well.] I can cook the meat, right? But first I gotta put - [He glances at his journal.] - salt and pepper in it.

[He grabs a large bowl and dumps the package of ground meat in it, then grabs the salt and pepper and sprinkles some on the meat. then he digs his hands in it and makes a face.]

Eww... it's slimy...!

[Why are you touching the meat with your bare hands, Little Link?! Is sanitation a concept that all Links lack? Just look at how they use their bottles!]

Ah! You should mix that around with a utensil. Don't touch anything else until you wash your hands!

[She tries to usher him to the sink to get some soap on his hands.]

[He looks at his hands, making an even more disgusted face. Yeah, she was probably right - meet goop just looked gross. He goes to wash said hands.]

[She digs something out for him to push the meat around with. It's not like she knows exactly what kitchen utensil to use, but she does know that you don't touch the raw meat.]

Here, use this to... I don't know. Push it around or something.

[He dries his hands, takes the utensil, and mashes the meat around. Ahh, much less slimy.]

[That sizzling sound the meat makes when it cooks is worrisome. She wouldn't be able to bear it if Toonie got hot grease to the face!]

Do be careful when it starts to heat up, alright?
